The following are just a few of our recent network installation and configurations. | | Accounting Firm: This network really shows the strength of Chesapeake Computing's Engineering team. When we first started to service this company they only had 5 employee's. Currently the company has grown to 25 Employees with different office's located throughout the area with projected revenue of 5 Million. The software to these remote offices are accessed through a Secure VPN Point to Point Tunnel. We have been able to put together growth solutions in some incidents within a week. Just recently this firm acquired another firm and the migration of the purchased company went flawless with no downtime. Going into 2007 we have been notified by this firm of another company purchase and have begun steps to accommodate the increase data traffic.

Since we have taken over this network, with some major re-configuring the owner has seen close to 100% uptime- Allowing him to concentrate on his business and not his computers. We have also started to begin replacement of their existing hardware with Chesapeake Computing Equipment. Network is running Windows 2003 with Active Directory. Network contains over 40 Users with VPN connections to corporate offices over the Nation.
Future plans are complete hardware upgrade solution. | | | Nationwide Home construction Company (Customer since 2004) This company came to us needing a much needed Remote access solution. The company required their sales Rep's constant access to the Client database. This Database resides at their main office in Maryland. Our Engineering team provided an "Unlimited" SSL connection to their data. We implemented the Sonicwall VPN-SSL Appliance with Pass-Through Authentician Enabled to utilize Server 2003 Active Directory Services. The Employees now have 24 hour access to their data from anywhere in the world.

First the Servers were replaced with Chesapeake Performance RAID Servers running Server 2003. A sonicwall TZ170 was installed with Global Security Service subscription. The Advertisment and score boards were tied into the Rink's master program called RMS. The Conscession food and beverage systems were replaced with new Chesapeake Point of Sale stations. After completing and fully testing the IT Infrastruction the TelCo and Cabling division was called in to begin the Phone system upgrade. First, The Rink required 800 Ft of Telephone cable run thoughout the building to prepare for the additional phone outlets. The old system was removed and a new Avaya System installed. All voice mail and extensions were programmed and the complete system was up and running in 1 day with mimimal downtime.
